Q: Types of video
Dear Alphana crew & Sebastian, a quick question, the type of videos, I assume they need to have clear spoken audio in order for AI to detect and be able to extract transcripts and from there create further content.
Here is my question: What if sports content, such as training videos where a coach uses a mic and talks to players, were used? Would your system be able to convert such videos to automate content creation from sports training footage?

Great question. That really depends on the quality of the audio in the video. I’ve seen videos with not-so-great quality transcribe really well. I would encourage you to try 1-2 of them for free and see how your specific videos work. It’s also important that the videos have spoken audio as just background noise or videos without sound will not work.
Q: Can you also integrate an AI podcast editor into Alphana so that we can easily edit/transcribe our own podcasts?

Alphana can transcribe podcasts if you upload the audio to Alphana. You can also find important moments within that podcast by using natural language. We are working on the ability to edit transcripts directly before generating the video as well. Is there something else you’re hoping for it to do?

Q: Realistic update on BYOK for AI/ChatGPT credits as indicated in your roadmap as "In Progress"
Thank you for the efforts in improving the software.
I know quite a few people, including myself who are sitting on the fence regarding BYOK. I have seen this in your roadmap as in progress. That is appreciated. I would be grateful if you can give a realistic update/ timeframe on this. This is due to experiences where items in roadmaps of other Founders have been “In Progress” for a considerable period of time, sometimes over a year and sometimes it never materialises. An honest assessment will be appreciated. Thank you.

I totally understand. BYOK is 95% complete. It involved a ton of changes to support this, so we’re now in the QA phase and fixing bugs that have arisen. We should be releasing it by Monday or sooner! 🙂
Q: Waiting on BYOK integration decision before pulling the trigger.
Do believe that with the cap on the number of hours we can upload, adding BYOK won’t cause any concerns, and we’ll be able to pullout more content out of the same uploaded material in case our monthly credits ran out, and be more relaxed on experiements/tryouts on material that consumes credits but we’ll never use.

Totally understand. I discussed this with my team earlier and can confirm we will work on adding this integration so you can use your own API key. It may take a little time since we need to reconfigure things, but we agree it would be beneficial to get it done as soon as possible!
